Had the gift exchange with some old friends of mine yesterday, went to KBox Cineleisure.

My home was nearly being burned down! A fire broke out at my next-door neighbour's house. None of them were in as the whole family were in JB when it happened. The cause was due to a short-circuited switch, this is what I heard from my mum. It was in state of 'blackness' and a lingering bad stench of burnt smell or rather smoke. Now its much better, at least better than just now. I am glad that my family, everything is intact and alright. It gave me quite a scare just now.

A make-up lesson tomorrow, slotted in my already very tightly schedule which leave me with no break in between. Aww~ so sad. Somemore, I will be having 3 tutorials (including the make-up cls) - MBS, Biz Stats, Biz A/C and a 9am morning lecture.

Me & my christmas bear!

Watched Kongfu Hustle, bought the popcorn combo and it came with this lollipop. The theatre is so packed that we had to sit at the first row. Aww~ kind of uncomfortable with the seats but enjoyed the show. Laughed so hard that I almost fell off the chair. *Oops* Abit too exagerated, but its a nice show afterall.

Before that I met the buyer for my 56K USB modem. I bought it at SGD 32 bucks and the starting price for the auction was SGD 20 bucks cos I felt that it should be reasonable enough as I only used it for a month or so before upgrading to broadband. And he tried to bargain with me, asking for SGD 10 bucks and in the end we settled at SGD 15 bucks. Well, made a little loss but its better than putting it away since its of no use to me, where nobody touches it at all.

I will be meeting the girls tomorrow to have our ktv session and post-christmas dinner. Venue for dinner is still unknown. I missed out one present and had to get it before meeting them or else I will be in hot soup. And yes, I got to make sure that my batt is fully charged. Here I go~

it seems like every year I would complete a jigsaw. last year I did one too, as a gift but this year its for myself.

TODAY
Alas, COMPLETED my PVBA assignment during my lab lessons! A big relief for me. Tomorrow will be Christmas eve but I might be working, including the day after next. So sad and pathetic having to work during such festive season. It was a last minute thing, the guy called me and asked me + jl + ting to make a trip down for an interview. He called me twice, asking me to be there as soon as possible cos they need people urgently. And so we went there - me + jl cos ting cant make it today. The same old procedure, filling in application forms & asking some questions. Plus we had to do a hands-on gift wrapping there. I can say that I am forever clumsy. Shant elaborate more as to save some 'face' for myself =P They have a counter at Takashimaya and I have to be there at 1.30pm after school ended. All the way until close. So disheartening right? Its half day tomorrow, classes will end at 12pm for my case is 3 hours before time (inclusive of 1 hour break) Its christmas eve..... =(

My devil inside me is telling me not to go. Just like today as I didnt turn up for work at V-kool, guess I am falling sick soon. Felt really tired and lethargic, my strength all slipped away. But I cant be a irresponsible since I had promised to be there so I have to, despite a thousand of 'I dont want to !' inside me.
Gift exchange will be tomorrow - my poly mates & Sunday - sec school friends. I wonder what will I get. Hope its something that I can keep and use =/

First day of Mango SALE. People are like ants and clothes, hangers are all everywhere. I got myself a stripped top cos I liked the color combi =P
It seems like Christmas is one good excuse that I can give myself for buying stuffs.

My unlucky Monday 9:54 PM

Was almost late for the morning Org Beh tutorial that starts at 9am. Threw everything into my big bag, went down and flagged a cab. Though that I would still make it on time but sadly, NO. I was pissed off by the cabbie, firstly he doesnt have any change for my 50 bucks. I mean, hey you are a cabbie and you OUGHT to have at least some change for passengers. So I was left with no other choice but to pay by MasterCard but despite swipping the card a few times he said that it cant be processed. And guess what he said? "It isnt my fault, its the company's fault." What is this, I mean how could you blame 'the' or rather its 'your' company. I was so mad that I slammed the door when I alighted =X Whatever. I wanted to make a complain regarding this, like for instance sending email or making a phone call but well. I will keep the receipt and see how things are when my bank statement comes. If he charges me more I will surely make a big fuss.
Its my second tutorial and its the second time that I am late. So, I was asked to go up to the whiteboard and scribble some points for mindmap. Somewhere during the same lesson, we played a stupid game and I was the one that had to present the discussion question.

Ting is sick today, still on MC. Hope she will have a speedy recovery *muack*

Had lunch with Jl and Von, some chilli sauce got onto my new top when I was squeezing it to my platter. Some thousand island dressing almost got onto my top when I was eating.

How unlucky!

3 of us agreed to go Pasir Ris Interchange there and get some Taiwan sausage to snack on but when we got there, the Pasar Malam is no longer there. When I board bus 15 to go home, the EZ-link card reader was out of service. So all on board had to get off somewhere around Tampines. How sickening! Its really NOT my day!

OH, I hate bad luck!! SHOO~~~

Shopping at Queensway! 6:44 PM

SHOPPING!! =)

Met Jia Ling & Yi Ting at Queensway Shopping Centre after my work yesterday. It was started off by Ting who wants to go there and see the tattoo shop. So we went there - shopped, then lunched, then shopped again, me & Ting bought christmas pressies. Jl had her pressies ready to be given out, I supposed? Mine is not ready yet!

Yes, I know, as usual I spent the most... *bleah* Stupid you! You know who you are... =/

PVBA - Tried to do the lab 2 + 3 assignments, to be due on 27th Dec. Stucked halfway. Skipped question 3 , 4 , 5. Done 1 , 2 last week during lab lesson. Somewhere went wrong in 6.

MBS - Wanted to do the Access assignment but well lab lessons is on Friday. Well well I shall put it off first.

Org Beh - Must do tutorial for tomorrow!

Its Sunday! Marks the end of last week and welcome the up-coming week ( I dont want to!) Unlike the 1st week which we dont have to go for tutorial classes, now we have too~! *Boo*

Today
Reported to the office, reach before time which was really a rare sight on my card. A quiet day at work, rained sometimes during early noon which makes it even quieter. Was told to leave half an hour before time cos it was really very very quiet - not many phonecalls and not to mention walk-in customers. Bought titbits to munch on while I whilst the time away by browsing magazines and the user manual. Borring!!

Quick & short entires for 3 days~ 10:15 PM

Alright~ A quick recollection of what I did for the past few days:

Tuesday

No lessons cos we made some 'changes' and decided to go for Biz Stats lecture on Wednesday. Met Mark and his friends for the 4pm movie, "Shutter" at GV Marina and as well as to have a gathering before he goes NS [which is today] Took a cab down cos I was rushing late and it was drizzling a little. Due to the renovation works there, theres no taxi-stand which I could alight. And I got myself abit drench. So pathetic, took a cab and still I got myself wet. Most importanly I had to alight at Marina Mandarin entrance and followed the sign which pointed to the carpark area so as to get to the mall, it was quite ulu. Waited for the rest to turn up and had dinner at Joaquim before a ktv session at Cineleisure Kbox.

Wednesday
Went to school from:
1pm - 3pm (see above) &
6pm - 7pm for Visual Basics lecture. **Notice the time interval. As I said, my timetable sucks~

Today
*Yawns* Worked morning 9am till 2pm before going to school to be at the 4pm lab lessons. Only a handful were present. PVBA is always short and sweet -- wed's was half an hour, today's was 1 hour. Many wasnt pleased with their CDS module and appealled. I am still considering if I should, before VB kills me with the chunks of commands and etc. I got all the time until tomorrow as it will be the closing date. And I think most probably all the nice and popular courses are snapped up, leaving those not-so-popular ones. And yes, its a chore and trouble to change!

Tomorrow is going to be a long day, school starts early in the morning 8 o'clock. And its ALL lectures! I can already imagine me sitting in the LT yawning away =\

First week of School.. 7:16 AM

Woke up early to make a trip to the post office to collect my parcel as well as to pay my handphone bill before going to school to meet them for lunch. Almost everyone has some changes in them as in appearance:
`jl cut her hair real short + a 'tail' [never ever will you see me in that length] *Style
`ting colored her hair, did twist perm *Bubbly look
`shu lin got a new specs *retro-ish
`von's hair grew longer, still as silky as ever *feminine
`me - got my hair cut thinner, re-hi lighted **but they say no difference!

wEEee~ School starts today at 12 pm with MBS lecture followed by Org Beh lecture till 4pm, which means 2 hours each. Its a good thing that we need not attend tutorials for week 1 and so we can go off early! But this doesnt applies to CDS (elective) modules. And speaking of that, it reminds me of my stupid PVBA - Visual Basic. It was my fourth choice and I had to get it, how unlucky! Supossedly theres a 2 hours Bus Stats lecture tomorrow but we decided to skip it and attend Wednesday's. But only for the first week cos we might have to be seated in our tutorial groups from week 2 onwards =/

NO school! That leaves me a free girl for tomorrow~! Mark is going NS soon and so there will be a steamboat dinner at Joaquim around evening. Long time since we all meet up, hope it will be fun.

New blog for a new semester ?! 5:37 PM

I am back!! It had been such a long time but dont worry cos this time I am really back to my blog. *Promise Had been neglecting it due to my busy work schedule for the past 2 months since term break. I really really need a rest but I have to be back at school tomorrow. And its a new semester! No more TB038, but 1B10. I will surely miss them. Only ting is in the same class as me. Lets see if there is anyone else tomorrow >.<

No more subject exemption which means that I have to go to school everyday and my timetable sucks. Argh! Meeting Jl, ting etc for lunch at 11am tomorrow before lecture. There must be alot to talk and catch up about what we had done during the 2 months, I am looking forward to the lunch tomorrow though I am feeling very full now. Hee~

***replace my 'tomorrow' with 'today' =P
